Explain:
Ivermectin belongs to avermectins and is resistant to Ascaris and parasites.
Indication:
Treatment of Ascaris lumbricoides, lice, alveoli infection, colibacillosis and scabies in calves, cattle, goats, sheep and pigs.
Usage and dosage:
For subcutaneous injection.
Calves, cattle, goats and sheep: 1 ml per 50 kg body weight.
Pig: 1 ml per 33 kg body weight.
For lactating animals.
Action mode:
Ivermectin paralyzes and eventually kills parasitic nematodes, arachnids and insects, and has a unique effect on the nervous system of these parasites. At the therapeutic dose, ivermectin is well tolerated in domestic animals because it is not easy to penetrate into the central nervous system.
Side effect:
When ivermectin is in contact with the soil, it is easy to combine closely with the soil and become inactive over time.
Free ivermectin may have adverse effects on fish and some aquatic organisms on which they depend.
Calves, goats, sheep: 28 days
Pig: 21 days.
Notes:
Water from feedlots is not allowed to enter lakes, streams or ponds.
Do not contaminate water by direct application or improper disposal of drug containers, in approved landfills, or by incineration of disposal containers.
